Share documents with students and their parents

- Students can only see specific documents.
- Parents can only see specific documents.
- Teachers can see all documents.
Solution
Students and parents can only see specific documents, while teachers can see all.
Create groups
- Navigate to DOCman > Groups > New.
- Create 3 user groups: Students, Teachers and Parents.
Create Documents page
- Navigate to Pages > Add New or edit and existing Page.
- Set Title to Documents if you are creating a new page.
- Add a DOCman hierarchical list block.
- Click Publish/Update.
Create a Students category
- Navigate to DOCman > Categories.
- Click New.
- Set title to Students.
- Under the Permissions tab set groups:
- Students and Teachers in Categories View.
- Students and Teachers in Documents View.
- Students and Teachers in Documents Download.
- Click Save.
Create a Parents category
- Navigate to DOCman > Categories.
- Click New.
- Set title to Parents.
- Under the Permissions tab set groups:
- Parents and Teachers in Categories View.
- Parents and Teachers in Documents View.
- Parents and Teachers in Documents Download.
- Click Save.
Create documents
Start creating documents in the different categories.
