Logging Joomla configuration changes

Keeping logs of Joomla configuration changes is something that LOGman supports since its earliest versions. However, LOGman 4.5 introduced a game changing improvement regarding these logs.

The Joomla configuration changes activity logs now contain information about the settings that changed with their old and new values. This effectively allows for knowing who changed the settings and when, and more importantly, what is that got changed.

The corresponding activity entries in the stream now provide you with all of this information in a nice and convient way. To see the changes that were made to the configuration settings you just need to click on the configuration link in the activity message. This will open a modal window with all the related information regarding the settings change.
