Image resizing - Automatically resize images

With Joomlatools Connect you no longer have to worry about server file limits, set the maximum size for your images and Connect handles the rest. Automatic image resizing is supported in FILEman, and TEXTman.

Note: Automatic image resizing will only work on a public website, not on a localhost installation. This is because we need to reach your Joomla site to deliver the results. Please refer to our Getting started guide for more information.

We support all popular image files (e.g.: JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, RAW, etc...)

Image files that exceed your server's upload and memory limits get automatically resized by Connect. The resized images will be generated on our servers and automatically copied to your website. It will only take a few seconds.

FILEman: Setting the maximum image size

1. From the Settings screen of FILEman find the Resize images so that they are smaller than parameter
2. Select the maximum image size for your site
3. Click Save
4. Connect does the rest.

Every time you upload an image that exceeds your server's maximum filesize, Connect intercepts and automatically generates the maximum image size for you and copies it to your site.

TEXTman: Setting the maximum image size
