What is Connect?

Joomlatools Connect brings enterprise features to your Joomla site through web services hosted on our cloud infrastructure. Rather than relying on your hosting, we take care of the hard work on our end so you can enjoy features with no extra code.

You can find a comprehensive overview of the features we provide using Connect on our site. At the moment, Connect features are only available for business and agency subscriptions

How does it work?

As we explained, Connect features live on our cloud infrastructure. We use a small Joomla plugin as a gateway to our servers. So the first step is to download and install the Joomla plugin on your site. The plugin is auto enabled and it comes with your API keys included so you don’t have to worry about that.

After you install the plugin Connect features will instantly become available on Joomlatools extensions. For example if you open a DOCman document in backend you will see a new “Generate automatically” button for document image. Or in FILEman you will see a new "Edit image" button in the toolbar.
